WHERE YOU START IS ONLY THE BEGINNING… Clyde’s Restaurant Group (CRG), a family of 11 distinctive restaurants and bars, is also home to a state-of-the-art music venue and event space in downtown Washington DC. The Hamilton Live is designed as a listening room and restaurant for those that enjoy great performances while eating terrific, fresh food. Our menus are rapidly changing, driven by local and fresh ingredients. We host local and national acts that include blues, jazz, rock and roll and contemporary music. The Hamilton Live also hosts a variety of private events such as corporate dinners and cocktail receptions. Whatever the event is, you will be working it as a team.

  • Friendly, hardworking, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service

  • Greets new parties and cordially “welcomes” guest to the restaurant
  • Informs the guest of delicious menu choices and makes suggestions
  • Relay orders to bar and kitchen using point-of-system (POS)
  • Anticipates the guest needs and responds appropriately 
  • Establishes a friendly professional rapport with the guest
  • Busses table when meal is completed and prepares the table for the next course
  • Totals and presents bill, accepts payment, cashes out the check and makes change
  • Problem solves guest needs with courtesy, dignity and respect
  • Extends closing greetings to guest as they leave thanking them for their patronage
