Rye Street Tavern, one of Clyde’s Restaurant Group’s latest concepts, is opening in the Spring of 2024. We are seeking passionate dishwashers to join our team. Rye Street Tavern is located on the waterfront of the Baltimore Peninsula development adjacent to Sagamore Distillery. Our 400-seat restaurant features two great indoor bars, a 70-seat outdoor bar overlooking the water, an incredible patio, show kitchen, and our famous oyster bar.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A DISHWASHER

Great verbal and written communication skills
Friendly, hardworking, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service
Problem solvers that can handle customer matters with courtesy, dignity and respect
Able to multitask

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS A DISHWASHER

Sets up and breaks down dishwasher; cleans and maintains dish machine equipment
Operates conveyor type dishwashing machine; checks and adjusts water temperature and chemical levels during dishwashing operation to insure proper cleaning
Organizes racks and feeds dirty dishes and utensils through dishwasher or sink as this equipment is returned from dining rooms and kitchen work stations; washes by hand pots, pans, trays and large food storage containers
Carries, lifts and stores in proper places all dishes, pots and pans, trays, utensils, cups and other equipment for the department
Empty, clean and refill dish machine with detergent and water when needed
Cleans oven, exhaust hoods and other kitchen equipment machinery
Empty, strain, clean and refill deep-fat fryers
Remove, shake down, hose down and stack floor mats
Sweeps, soaps, hose down, squeegee and mop entire kitchen floor
Carries trash from the dish room and other kitchen areas and places in dumpster; cleans and sanitizes garbage cans and keep clean liners in cans at all time
