Clyde’s Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Senior Events Manager to lead event sales at DC’s most iconic venues: Old Ebbitt Grill, The Hamilton, and Hamilton Live. These venues offer nine versatile spaces accommodating 40 to 700 guests, perfect for any occasion.
In this onsite role with a flexible schedule, you'll maximize revenue by driving event sales across these three restaurants and others within our group.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A SENIOR EVENT MANAGER
- 3+ years of event sales and execution experience (required).
- Strong management outcomes skills and knowledge of event or floor operations.
- Restaurant experience preferred, but not required.
- Flexible schedule, able to work weekends and evenings.
- Commitment to superior customer service and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, urgency, empathy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize, solve problems, build lasting relationships, and drive positive results.
WHAT YOU WILL DO AS A SENIOR EVENT MANAGER
Event Sales (80%)
- Identify and close business opportunities, negotiate and upsell, and understand client needs.
- Build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional event experiences.
- Manage bookings, oversee inquiries, and ensure smooth event scheduling.
- Lead a team of Events Managers, Venue Coordinators, and Administrative Assistants.
- Transition detailed event planning to the Events Managers for execution.
Event Planning and Execution (20%)
- Strategically plan and oversee private events, managing all logistics like site tours, tastings, and vendor meetings.
- Ensure food and beverage minimums are met and maintain clear communication with guests.
- Diligently manage contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and payments.
- Lead BEO meetings, ensuring seamless communication and execution with the team.
