Clyde’s Restaurant Group is looking for an experienced Events Manager to join our team within a collaborative multi-unit structure. This role would execute events at DC’s most iconic venues: Old Ebbitt Grill, The Hamilton, and Hamilton Live, which together offer nine versatile spaces accommodating 40 to 700 guests, perfect for any occasion.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing client events from contract signing through to successful execution, ensuring the highest level of service and client satisfaction.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN AN EVENT MANAGER
- 2+ years of experience executing events - required.
- Restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- A flexible schedule with the ability to work some weekends and evenings.
- A commitment to ensuring superior customer service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, strong decision-making ability, sense of urgency, empathy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, build long-lasting relationships, and create positive outcomes.
WHAT YOU WILL DO AS AN EVENT MANAGER
- Manage all aspects of events, from initial planning to post-event follow-up, ensuring smooth transitions between sales and operations.
- Coordinate logistical details including site tours, tastings, vendor meetings, and event day execution.
- Communicate continuously with clients to finalize menus, guest counts, and event specifications, while maximizing revenue through strategic upselling.
- Prepare and detail Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and lead BEO meetings to ensure all departments are aligned for event success.
- Supervise and develop event staff, create schedules, and oversee performance to ensure seamless event execution.
- Maintain billing accuracy, finalize invoices within 48 hours, and conduct bill reviews with clients.
