Pay Range: $17.15 - $20.00 / hour

Clyde's Restaurant Group is hiring an Events Assistant to support the events team at Old Ebbitt Grill and The Hamilton, two iconic DC restaurants near the White House with private and semi-private spaces accommodating up to 1,200 guests.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A EVENT ASSISTANT

  • Flexible availability to work mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and weekdays as needed

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS AN EVENT ASSISTANT

  • Support the Events team with administrative duties
  • Respond to customer private events inquiries via phone, email, or in person, and return voicemails promptly
  • Record and manage event leads in TripleSeat and assist Event Managers with administrative tasks
  • Report to the Events Team for daily event updates and task assignments
  • Prepare weekly event folders with menus, signage, tips sheets, rosters, floorplans, and checklists
  • Order office supplies and maintain the team calendar (e.g., TimeTree)
  • Ensure office and event spaces are clean and organized, performing checks as needed
  • Attend and take notes during BEO meetings
  • Enter event details in OpenTable and support BEO posting, printing and updates
  • Assist with communication with event managers and chefs
  • Communicate event specifications to relevant departments, ensuring all requirements are met
  • Oversee event setup, greet clients, assist with event execution, and address issues
  • Maintain a client list and conduct follow-up calls to generate bookings
